Creating ‘Ethereal Butterfly Dreams’ (2023)

Hii besties!

Today, I want to share the journey behind my latest artwork, “Ethereal Butterfly Dreams.” This piece is all about capturing the delicate beauty of butterflies and the dreamy feeling they inspire. 

First, I start with a blank canvas and imagine a world where butterflies dance freely with the stars. Then, I look up some reference pictures of blue butterflies on Pinterest.

Next comes the fun part – adding color! I choose soft, light colored hues to give the painting a dreamlike quality. Layer by layer, I build up the colors until the butterflies start to come to life on the canvas.

I also pay close attention to the background, blending different shades to create a sense of depth and mystery.

As I work, I let my imagination take flight, thinking about the ethereal beauty of butterflies and the sense of wonder they evoke. Each brushstroke is like adding another layer to a dream, until finally, the painting is complete.

When I step back and look at the finished piece, I hope to transport viewers to a world of magic and possibility – a world where butterfly dreams come to life.
